This happened at Airtel !

I guess it's time we had "express ourself". I guess most of us would have gone through this situation at Airtel. Paying money for calls you haven't made. Man, this is out of the world. Mr. Gaurav recently paid a bill amount of Rs.850 of which in reality he had made only calls amounting to Rs. 100. As per the bill he has to pay a monthly charge of Rs.698 which only Airtel knows for what. The actual rent is only Rs.150. The poor man has been paying this for the past 4 months. What meaning does this make?
Another thing is that the Airtel people barred his outgoing as he had not payed the amount on time but after paying the bill amount they have not debarred the outgoing. What a poor service they are offering. Total rubbish. Considering the number of people using Airtel connection, i guess almost 90% would be paying the amount that the Airtel people says they have to pay because people like Mr.Gaurav and many others have been fooled to believe what Airtel says.

This Happened in Cochin !

Long since you can see an elephant walking about in the wilderness. Now you can see these creatures walking about on the road, in front of us, barefooted on the hot tarred roads. Is that a dream come true for us- to see them nearby, so close. Well, not for those poor creatures. God, only knows their pain. In a documentary which aired in NGC you can find the pain and trauma these poor creature had to go through - from their taming to their getting in to work. “To find fault is easy; to do better may be difficult.”

This happened at HDFC ATM, Aluva!

Mr. Prasanth was in need of some urgent money as he had to pay his bills and college fees which were in due. He went to the HDFC ATM to withdraw money and say what, the ATM got stuck. A message came out saying that the ATM is temporarily out of service and guess what, his credit card also got stuck along with it. He waited for about 10 minutes hoping that the machine would start working. The branch office was nearby and he went to enquire over there. The office staff were very busy. The watchman came and enquired what had happened. After listening to the incident he said that cash had to be filled into the machine, which would happen only in another week and then he has to provide some ID proof to get back his card. When he said that he was in urgent need of the money they said that he had to go through the routine method to get back his card no matter what happens.Mr. Prasanth had to leave empty handed because of the lack of a small help from the office staff, which they have done at that moment itself. The matter is that if he wanted to get the cash he needed, he had to work extra time for the money ( he does a part time job).God only knows how frustrated he would have been and hey, thanks to the ######ing stupid ATM machine. They can put a man on the moon, but they can't figure out how to help a man in dire need of money. Wonderful!

This happened at Pay n Park, Maharajas Ground, Kerala!

Poor fate of the man who parked his car near the tree. Paid ten rupees and lost three lakh rupees. Why on earth did this happen to that person? Well, the answer is that this could happen to anyone of us. The earth we abuse and the living things we kill will, in the end, take their revenge; for in exploiting their presence we are diminishing our future. Sometimes we have to deserve this for what we do to the nature and the atmosphere. Human destiny is bound to remain a gamble, because at some unpredictable time and in some unforeseeable manner nature will strike back.

This happens in Kerala Backwater, Marine Drive!

"God's own country,
Waste's own lake."
The backwaters have changed much since Vasco da Gama visited Kerala centuries ago. The charms he experienced while cruising down the backwater canals has changed much as you will experience them today. Like the picture you are seeing at Marine Drive, that waste include plastic and animal waste. It seems that the thriving tourism sector in Kerala has left these activities happening around unnoticed. We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.

This happens in NH47, Kerala

Slaughtering cows, sacred to India's Hindu majority, is legal only in the states of West Bengal, in the far east, and Kerala, in the southwest, both provinces where communist parties have a strong presence.Animal rights groups such the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals say cows are illegally transported to the two states to escape the ban elsewhere.
The poor animals that you see in the picture are not aware of the fate that is ahead of them- their last ride. Cow slaughter can never be stopped by law. Knowledge, education, and the spirit of kindliness towards her alone can put and end to it.

This happened in Kerala !

Democratic Indira Congress-Karunakaran is a political party in Kerala under the authority of Mr. Kannoth Karunakaran and his son Mr. K Muraleetharan. DIC (K) was formed because the Congress leadership had refused to concede to Mr. Karunakaran's demand for conducting organisational elections.
Now as the Kerala election is coming up, every party is in the heat of campaigning. So is DIC(K) and the picture you are seeing is one of the party's writing on a road in Aluva that our reporter found. It says " D I C K Zindabad". Way to go, "DICK".
"What words say does not last. The words last. Because words are always the same, and what they say is never the same. ~Antonio Porchia, Voces, 1943, translated from Spanish by W.S. Merwin"
Meaning of DICK according to Wikipedia-Slang term meaning penis (similar to cock) , Don't be a dick.
Ex, If you are being a dick, the likelihood of whatever point you are trying to make (or whatever you're doing) reaching the ears of your intended audience dramatically diminishes. Why? Simple: no one likes listening to dicks, no matter how correct or in the right they are, and dicks often offend their listeners.

This happened at Honda Activa Service Centre ( Aryabhangy), Aluva !

Myself, Gulfu, had this experience. I visited the Honda service center to repair my vehicle's broken light. I told the service man and he told me to wait. I waited for about half an hour. I enquired the man about why so much delay. He said, " Sir, 5 minutes.". OK. I waited for another half an hour. I again enquired, he said, " Sir, it will be ready in 10 minutes." OK. I waited.
I have been waiting for almost an hour and at last i decided to complaint it to the MD. I told the MD that i have been waiting for an hour to repair a broken light. The MD called up the service man and asked why the delay. The service man said it would be repaired within another 5 minutes.
I went to the service room and the service man came towards me and said, "Why did you go and complaint? I will repair it whenever i want because it is i who decide when to repair it and when not to." Man, that was more than i could bear and i again went to the MD and told about what happened. He again called the service man and started firing him. At last, Voila! My vehicle got repaired. 2 hours to repair a broken light? Great!

This happened in V-Mart,Cochin !

I recently along with my friend had this experience at V-Mart, Vytilla, where we were having an icecream. We were watching a Korean man (who was unfortunately disabled). He was asking for a juice at the juice counter. The man at the counter said that he had to get the bill first. The man ordered 5 juice for himself and his other Korean friends. The man gave the bill at the juice counter and waited.
By this time another boy came to handle the juice counter and the earlier one left. The poor Korean man waited- standing. An old Muslim man barged into the juice counter and ordered juice saying he wanted it fast , as he had to go. The Korean said that he ordered first but the boy at the counter did not listen to the Korean and made a juice for the old man and his fatso wife, who infact showed her real behaviour by shouting at the boy for being late. The Korean waited again and got frustrated. He felt pissed off and in the end he got his drink which happened to be the one he had not oredered for. Thanks to the good customer service. Yeah!
I hope that no other foreigner would have to go through this situation again.
